Who doesn’t love labradorite? It’s an amazing semi-precious gemstone which has a striking iridescent optical effect.
The beads I used to create these earrings are made from natural labradorite stone. Colours range from soft blue-grey to darker grey- green. All of the beads have areas with the beautiful iridescent flash, as well as areas which may appear ‘muddy’ (not a flaw – just a natural part of the stone). I have paired the beads up as closely as possible, and the second photo illustrates some variations in appearance. Every pair will be slightly different in appearance from the next – which means that your pair will be unique!
My earrings are all assembled by hand in my Kaiapoi studio (with a little bit of love) using top quality sterling silver hooks, bead caps & head pins.
