This earring has a textured sterling silver drop with a polished silver surface and darkened recesses. The textured pattern is on one side only - the reverse side is not textured. The hooks are also sterling silver and made by hand.
These earrings are semi-mismatched with a different pattern on the left and right earrings.
Because of the handmade nature of these earrings, including a fair bit of hammering and filing, there may be slight variations in appearance from one pair to the next. Every pair will have its own unique personality!
(PS: In case you are wondering why I have named this earring 'Karen' given the negative connotations that social media has attached to this name, it is because Karen is the name of one of my most fabulous customers, and this is my way of saying thank you to her.)
