This sterling silver rectangular drop earring has a soft hammered texture which has been oxidised then polished back to produce black spots.
The texture is applied to one side only. The other side is flat.
A fine layer of micro-crystalline wax has been applied to the textured metal to enhance and protect the appearance of the spots. It also offer some protection from unwanted oxidisation (ie it may slow down tarnishing).
The textured drop is approximately 34mm long and 5mm wide. The total length, including hook, is approximately 50mm (5cm).
